I just set up my tripod in the back seat of my car and then used the remote to trigger the shutter. It really wasn't hard. It gave me a chance to use my new fish-eye lens. I think you should try it. That's cool! How did you mount it? My self portrait today would involve me and Londyn on the couch with our barf buckets. Not a pretty picture.
